If you’re planning a career as a security guard or door supervisor in the UK, you’ll need to complete this six-day SIA Door Supervisor course before applying for your SIA Security Licence.
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulates the private security industry in the UK and requires individuals to complete approved training before applying for an SIA badge.
This course equips you with essential skills such as conflict management, monitoring entry and exits, customer safety, and physical intervention techniques.
You’ll cover legal responsibilities, communication strategies, and hands-on training to ensure you are fully prepared to pass your exams and apply for your SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
To be eligible for the Door Supervisor course, you must be 18 years or older, have adequate English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and hold basic first aid certification, such as an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate with at least 12 months’ validity.
Don’t have a first aid course? No worries! We offer discounted packages that include the first aid course and much more when you book with us.
Throughout the six-day course, you'll be assessed by your teacher on practical skills such as searching and physical intervention. You will also complete four multiple-choice exams, each varying in question number and passing requirements.
The table below provides details on the duration, questions, and pass marks for each exam.
