The Level 2 Food Hygiene course provides learners with essential knowledge and practical understanding of safe food handling practices required by law in the UK and EU. This qualification focuses on contamination prevention, temperature control, personal hygiene, and maintaining hygienic premises to ensure food is prepared, handled, and served safely.
All food handlers are legally required to understand food safety principles and work in a way that protects consumers from harm. The course is delivered fully online through interactive modules with audio voiceover, videos, quizzes, and practical exercises. Learners can study at their own pace using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Full tutor support and 24/7 learner assistance are available throughout the programme.
Assessment is conducted through an online multiple-choice examination at the end of the course. Results are provided instantly, and learners may retake the assessment if required.
