The Level 1 Food Hygiene and Safety course provides learners with a fundamental understanding of essential food safety principles required in environments where food is stored, prepared, transported, or served. This qualification focuses on legal responsibilities, basic hazard awareness, hygiene standards, and safe working practices to help maintain a clean and compliant workplace.
This course is ideal for individuals who work in food-related environments but do not directly handle food. It ensures that all staff understand food safety risks, contamination hazards, and the importance of maintaining high hygiene standards within the workplace.

The course is delivered fully online through interactive learning modules with professional audio voiceover. Learners can study at their own pace using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, with 24/7 learning assistance available.
Assessment is conducted via an online multiple-choice examination at the end of the course. Results are marked instantly. Learners may retake the assessment if required at no additional cost.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive an accredited Level 1 Food Hygiene and Safety certificate. A digital certificate is issued immediately, with the option to request a printed copy (postal charges apply). Although certificates do not have a formal expiry date, refresher training is recommended annually.
