The Food Allergen Awareness Training Course provides essential knowledge and practical guidance on identifying, managing, and controlling food allergens in line with UK food safety regulations. With approximately 1–2% of adults and 5–8% of children in the UK affected by food allergies, allergen awareness is a critical responsibility for all food professionals.
This course focuses on understanding food allergies and intolerances, recognising symptoms, preventing cross-contamination, and ensuring accurate food labelling. It also covers current legal requirements and Food Standards Agency (FSA) guidance regarding allergen training and compliance.
